Our favourite Texan artist Sara King is back with a new single, called “Velvet”. Yes, you’d be right to get some serious Blue Velvet vibes on this one, which reminds me of Angelo Badalamenti’s score for Twin Peaks. In the video Sara performs on a stage with heavy velvet curtains. It’s actually San Antonio’s Guadalupe Theater that has been a home to Latino, Chicano and Native American culture for over 75 years. In April she’ll be supporting Caroline Polachek in Dallas.
