Mister Baby is the alias of Kati from San Francisco band April Magazine (who were also on the Rocks In Your Head comp with The Gonks). She just released her first tape on Discontinuous Innovation and it’s called There’s Hope in Cantelope. Sounding just as lofi as April Magazine’s songs, this tape sounds like it was recorded directly onto a walkman. If you’re a fan of Tomorrow’s Tulips you’ll definitely enjoy this 90s throwback. These nine tracks range from jangle to fuzzed out pop.
