En attendant ana from Paris are back with a new album and a slightly different lineup. Juillet is such a huge step forward for the band, it’s sometimes hard to believe this is the same group that released Lost and Found two years ago. Still on US label Trouble In Mind, they have put together what will surely be one of the best pop records of the year. Reminiscent of The Cowboys, Comet Gain and Estrogen Highs (remember them?), “From My Bruise To an Island” even builds up like a long lost McCarthy track with horns.
