Jake Robertson of a bunch of Melbourne/Geelong bands (Ausmuteants just to name one) has decided to turn his solo recording project Alien Nosejob into a full-fledged band. The new LP Suddenly Everything Is Twice As Loud (out on Anti Fade and Drunken Sailor next week) however, was recorded by Jake himself as usual. You can listed to “Television Sets” right now, and marvel at how it sounds like everything that was great about music in 2019. And the album cover can’t help but make me think of The Clean.
