2019 was the year when coldwave and darkwave merged with EBM and somehow became cool again. One of the many new artists within this territory is Autumns from Ireland. He released a nice little cassette for Opal Tapes back in September, shortly after his most recent LP Shortly After Nothing. In November he returned with another tape on the DKA label. This one’s called Foyle Living and is apparently a collection of outtakes, but they sound just as great as the album to me. “Deep Song Title” also shows that he’s still not beyond taking the piss.
