Liquids have been quiet to the point where most people probably didn’t think we’d see a follow-up to their excellent LP Hot Liqs from 2016. Well, there was the Hot Liqs Revenge LP last year, but that was a compilation of old cuts, some of which had been included in the 26 Recordings set. This year, two new EPs have appeared on Mat Williams’ bandcamp. The most recent 2 Soft Serves and a Hard Rock features three great tracks, one of which is surprisingly a ballad. The month before that Terminaldiarrhea had appeared, with four blistering punk tunes in classic Liquids no-fi.
