Hana Vu released a new EP two months ago, or rather a double EP, on Luminelle. After last year’s How Many Times Have You Driven By she’s had a major breakthrough and the expectations have been high. While not reaching the same extreme highs as her recent album, I really love the upbeat “Actress” which is on the Anne Hathaway record. The first one is called Nicole Kidman and kicks off with “At the Party”, which is even more danceable than her cover of “Gypsy”. The other tracks present a much more varied sound and it’s easy to see why Vu didn’t want to make this into an album.
