Psychic Bloom

Psychic Bloom from Tehran released their new EP Mysterious Temple this year on a Burger cassette. After the debut album Psychic Bloom was reissued by Detriti Records last year, they’ve received some welcome attention. Making it all the way to the US, they even managed to get some cool 60’s style cover art from Dawn Aquarius. The six tracks on the tape sound so convincing in their recreation of the late 60s psychedelic sound that it is in fact hard to believe this is a contemporary record. Mesmerising grooves, Farfisa organ, 12-string guitars and biting fuzz makes this even better than The Black Angels.
