Slumberland are reissuing East Village’s classic singles compilation Hotrod Hotel on vinyl. It includes the infamous “Strike Up Matches” EP originally released as Episode 4 (no doubt a reference to Episode Six, who later became Deep Purple), which still fetches insane prices on ebay/discogs. My favourite track has always been “Back Between Places”. It’s out at the end of next month.
