Telekenet is the solo project of Peter Bramley, who also plays in Melbourne group Synthetics. Telekenet is a mildly experimental electronic endeavour, compared to his more guitar-based work. On his first full-length S.O.Society, Telekenet works through different percussive modes that sometimes sound a bit inspired by Einstürzende Neubauten. Mix in some vocal samples and a few techno beats and you get a really interesting sonic collage. There’s a release party for the record on Friday at MESMA Studio in Coburg.
