Soda Boys shook the world when they arrived on the scene in 2016, St. Louis. Lumpy released their demo tape and Total Punk took two of the tracks and put them on a 45. Take This Record and Shove It was meant to come out Hozac last year but it never seemed to happen. Now Burger have put out the tape The Secret Years: Naked and Hopped Up On Speed in Watson’s Attic with seven tracks, including the three that were meant to go on the EP. Soda Boys is still the best US band since Dino’s Boys, and even better at emulating Raw Power than Personal & the Pizzas. And the solo in “TV Witch” is to die for.
