Saba Lou released her second album Novum Ovum a couple of weeks ago on Ernest Jenning Record Co. and her dad’s label Khannibalism. It’s the follow-up to Planet Enigma, which she started recording when she was only 15. Now almost an adult, Berlin-based Saba Lou has found her voice as an artist and turned in a set of songs miles beyond her previous, mainly acoustic record. This is a record full of 60s soul, ska, doowop and blues. If you used to love April March, this set of tunes will make your mouth water. Check out the video for “Telepathetic”, a future classic.
