Ukraine trio Chillera is one the most interesting bands I’ve discovered this year. With their instrumental guitar music based in dub and surf, they blew the crowd away at the Intonal festival in Sweden. Their debut EP is two years old now, so it’s about time they released something new. The long-awaited second EP, called Pro Fun, came out on Kiev/Tallinn label Muscut in late September. All three tracks are brilliant, as Chillera explore their own boundaries, in a band that is largely a complement to their individual projects as producers of electronic music.
