So the Moody Beach EP that we wrote about recently is finally out on Viscera Arts, and Mirage criss-crosses genres in a formidable way. The bubblegum pop of “Cuidate” even makes a flamenco rhythm sound plausible. Melissah Marie has also just released her collaboration with Poolroom (who did an Italo-feel remix of the lead track “Slave” off of her EP). “Lavender” takes a disco groove and gives it that carefree 80s sound, which works perfectly as a background for Marie’s vocal.
