What would Rimbaud do? It’s a question we’ve all asked ourselves. Maria Soromenho from Lisbon has come to wonder the same thing after releasing a couple of EPs worth of stark electronic pop that reminds me of Figurine and Au Revoir Simone. “What Would Rimbaud Do?” is her latest single and the first from her upcoming debut LP. The video is brilliant, almost better than the tune itself. She played in Sweden earlier this year and I’m looking forward to hearing the recorded versions of those songs.
