Moth is a new Melbourne group featuring Darcy Berry who is also in U-Bahn and Gonzo. They just released their first demo today, with five great tracks. It’s guitar and synthesizer-driven punk that will remind you a bit of Uranium Club. I love the sound on “Modern Madness”, which goes into a no wave breakdown at the end. “Digital Crisis” sounds more like Useless Eaters, with its frantic rhythm. This is definitely a band to keep an eye on in the near future.
