Alley Cat have just released the first album by Swedish garage group Lavette. It’s called In the Soup and is full of energy and punk attitude. Sounding like everything from High Waisted to The Hinds, these four women and one guy have also been taking queues from all the best Swedish bands of the 2000s. “Oh! Oh! Oh!” definitely has an air of Love Is All to it. And “Barracuda” could be the perfect soundtrack to the new club night of the same name in their hometown of Gothenburg.
