Yura Iwama from Melbourne has been making music using the Culte moniker for a while. But earlier this year, her first EP came out on Roolette Records. Called Goodnight, it features 6 humble but highly accomplished cuts including the upbeat “I Don’t Wanna”. Check out the video, which reminds me of a more punk Stella Donnelly (who of course has a song on the same subject). Culte is supporting Shining Bird at the Curtin this Friday.
