After 3 nights in Melbourne, I think I’ve seen 16 bands and today the brilliant Monday tradition of gigs at Northcote Social Club will add even more to that list. At this week’s edition of Monday Night Mass, Life Strike will be playing songs from their brand new record Primitive Future out on Strange Pursuits / Omnipest. Their bass player previously played in Deaf Wish and, together, they manage to sound like a dozen different bands that I like, including The Bats. Joining them on stage are Eat-Man, Slomo and Hype.
