Staying in Sydney for a while, let’s talk about the debut cassette from Xilch featuring Josh from Diät on drums. Other members come from Rapid Dye and Perspex so you know this is the good stuff. The Xilch tape came out on Meatspin in June and is sold out, but you can download it for free. The sound is both heavy (“Inhumanity” and “Mimic”) or wiry and dark (“Robotic Life”). These guys should be bigger than Low Life, if you ask me.
