One half of Gothenburg punks Skiftande Enheter make up the minimal synth/guitar duo Monokultur. With vocals in Swedish and a sound that reflects the grey reality of living in a concrete city, it’s a unique release for a Swedish band. It’s actually on both Förlag För Fri Musik in Sweden and NYC label Ever/Never who’ve also released Preening and Obnox to mention a few. It quickly found its way into the strictly curated distro of Low Company in London too. I love the tracks with vocals by Elin.
