LA-based artist Deb Never’s music has been described as halfway house between punk and hiphop. While that is in no way a unique descriptor these days, it’s still peculiarly fitting for her new EP House On Wheels. It follows a couple of singles that sound like Cat Power in a triphop remix. It leads off with a new anthem called “Ugly”. The music video is one of my favourites since “Gold Soundz” by Pavement. The record is out on WeDidIt Records
