No big surprise, another awesome punk group from Melbourne. Leather Lickers are a five-piece who’s first EP was recorded by Billy Gardner and it came out a couple of days ago on local label Cool Death. The 6 tracks on the EP are simply uncompromising and have received the loud-as-can-be treatment by Mikey Young. Can you keep up with the pace of opening track “Spit”? This is the kind of stuff Total Punk would die for – one of the best punk records from Australia this year.
