Melbourne sensations Ill Globo have already released one EP full of trashed-out hardcore punk on Unwound Records this year. Last week the follow-up, and their first vinyl to boot, came out on Aarght. Check the Odds is a short-but-sweet 8-track EP and the group launched it with a show that also had The Shifters and Ubik on the bill. A shame I missed that one! Like they say, it’s not a sick world – it’s ill globo.
