Paradise is at least the 8th record by LA-based twin duo The Mattson 2. On this album their take on contemporary jazz takes a slightly psychedelic turn that puts them in the same territory as e.g. Mildlife or Pipe-Eye. Check out the video for “Wavelength” and listen to the whole track on the album. It’s the longest track on the record and feels like its centre-piece, along with equally great single “Essence”. Paradise is the perfect soundtrack to late summer evenings. Out now on Company Records.
