Last year “Wish You Were Here” by Australian artist Charlie Collins signalled the start of a successful solo career for the ex-Tigtertown member. Still working together with her husband who was also in Tigtertown, she’s now released her first album called Snowpine. It’s out on Mirror Records out of Sydney and people in Australia seem to love its blend of country-rock with pop sensibilities. When Collins is at her best the dreamy soundscape and her unassuming voice weaves the perfect backdrop for a nostalgic yet timeless songwriting style. It’s time for the rest of the world to catch on.
