“Damsel”, the third single from Nashville duo Twen’s debut album Awestruck leads of with a 12-string intro worthy of The Raspberries. Frenchkiss Records are releasing the record in September and another single has already appeared. “Baptism” features a much more dense soundscape with multiple layers of guitars and synths. Together with the first two singles, you get a pretty complete overview of the album if you also check out their Audiotree session from earlier in the year. It’s really only the final track that hasn’t already been released as a single or live recording.
