Hard to describe, this new tape from Leipzig punks Lassie. Yes, like the dog (which was also the title of their first EP). Just a Couple of Dudes came out in April on Do the Math and these five tracks are crazy good. People who claim that music can’t be funny should listen to this tape. “Deposit Bottles” is my favourite track, sounding like an analog version of Atari Teenage Riot, complete with fake crowd sounds.
