Japanese Heart Software is the name of the new project of Nat Chippy from Melbourne dreampop group VIM. The Lonely Hearts EP was recorded with a drum machine instead and apart from the upbeat track “Something”, it’s a mellow electronic pop record. I think people who like US groups like Inner Wave should be pretty into this. “For Another Day” sounds like 90s indie group Majestic 12 and “Transcience” is more over towards the Slowdive brand of shoegaze.
