I never quite made up my mind about Urochromes. Not only have they moved around between Massachusetts, LA and New York, the singer has also released some brilliant music as Mark Cone (no relation to Coneheads). The best track on the 2017 Urochromes EP was the Boy Harsher remix of title track “Night Bully”. Now the trio has returned with a first full-length on Wharf Cat, called Trope House. This one is also a bit all over the place, including a Lemonheads cover. But I love it. “Hair So Big” and “Negative Thing” are pretty unique in today’s punk scene.
