The Japanese/Korean duo Tengger are back with a new LP, two years after the seminal Segye came out on Guruguru Brain. Their psychedelic mix of kraut and ambient is once again prominent on Spiritual 2, which just came out on Beyond Beyond Is Beyond. The songs are inspired by Zen buddhism and other spiritual ideas, and they really come into their own when they reach a meditative state such as on the 16-minute closing track “Wasserwellen”.
