The Floor is a gothy, surfy four song EP from LA band Corners which was released earlier this year on Day End Records. It has been five years since their full-length, Maxed Out on Distractions, but The Floor works as a perfect follow up. Lead singer Tracy Bryant has been busy recording two solo albums and touring as well. The Floor has a unique darkness to it, as corny as that sounds. I am relieved that Corners is still playing together and more impressed than ever. Also, Tim Presley’s cover art is great!
