Wow, Rich Morel and Ian Svenonius have had the impeccably good taste of naming their new musical project after the same fictional clothing store that we named our Malmö club night after. After going solo in Escape-ism, Svenonius’ new duo released their first dance record under the name Too Much. Yes that’s the store sign from the 1968 movie you can see in the artwork. The music takes the same minimal and hypnotic approach as Escape-ism’s record for the Alphabet Reform Committee from last year, just a tad more groovy.
