Honey Radar is one of those bands who seem to labour in the dark, consistently turning out incredible records while no one pays attention. Like Kitchen’s Floor, what happened to them? Philly-based Honey Radar have also been quiet for a few years. I didn’t even hear the flexidisc they put out in 2016 that includes a track recorded down an answering machine. However, at the end of the month the group’s new LP Ruby Puff of Dust is coming out on What’s Your Rupture. Listen to the opening track “Kite Balloons” and feel the excitement growing over the 1:44 that the song lasts for.
