Three members of The Young Sinclairs are in a new band called The Concerns, which just released its first record. Country Blue came out on Charlottesville label WarHen last month and is almost sold out. The band itself is from Roanoke, also in Virginia, and it sees Sam Lunsford and Daniel Cundiff trading places behind the mic and the drums. While the Sinclairs has always been Lunsford creative outlet, Cundiff has been playing drums, which he also does in Eternal Summers. That band released a great album last year, and now Cundiff’s first record with him in the front seat is here. The music sounds a little bit like a mix between Eternal Summers and The Young Sinclairs: folky, but veering towards indierock and dreampop territory.
