French Vanilla, where have you been all my life? Well apparently you’ve been playing around LA for the past few years, while I’ve been here in Sweden, oblivious so to your ways – until you appeared on the beyond-essential Typical Girls series from Emotional Response. Luckily, Danger Collective are releasing their second LP next month. It’s the follow-up to the excellent self-titled minialbum from 2017. I’m still in love with “Evolution of a Friendship” from that record, with its insistent saxophone and great lyrics. “All the Time” is the first song to be released from How Am I Not Myself, and it’s a fine start indeed.
