Japanese group Tawings had a busy year in 2018, which among other things saw them playing SXSW and releasing a limited cassingle in 200 copies on 2670 Records. They were featured in Japanese i-D magazine and I remember reposting this tune on soundcloud but I completely forgot to write about them, until Braindead reminded me of their existence. They had invited them to their NTS radio show in Tokyo recently. Let’s hope for an album release this year.
