Merge artist Sneaks, or Eva Moolchan from Washington DC, is playing Copenhagen tonight. Her new record Highway Hypnosis has been on heavy rotation leading up the concert. And I must say it’s an impressive record – huge shift from the ESG meets Young Marble Giants approach of her previous records. While It’s a Myth was a great album its brevity and restrained nature, the new album is a lot more inspired by trap and modern pop. “The Way It Goes” might be one of the best pop songs of the past couple of years – reaching the same kinda highs Le Tigre did 20 years ago.
