RECORD TURNOVER 80s HITS #1
We’ve got a small list of amazing releases from the 80s that we thought we’d share with you. First out is the UK group Mo-Dettes, formed by ex-members of The Slits, Bank of Dresden and the great Kleenex. They put out a short string of singles, that culminated with their Deram LP The Story So Far… at the end of 1980. The album was given a proper vinyl reissue this year for record store day. Coincidentally, I found an original copy for a lesser price in a record store in Gothenburg on that very day. Here’s one of the album’s best tracks, “Satisfy”. Most of the record was made up of the preceding singles.
