Tiny Ruins, or Hollie Fullbrock from New Zealand, has returned with a new album. It follows her now 4 years old EP with Hamish Kilgour, Hurtling Through. Compared to her collaboration with the ex-Clean member, this new and third full-length is much more ambitious with exquisite instrumentation and arrangements that clearly have taken a long time to perfect. Olympic Girls really is a wow experience, and I kind of feel proud of New Zealand to have spawned yet another highly talented songwriter. Check out the video for “Hologram”, that was released a few weeks ago. The LP came out last Friday on their own label Ursa Minor.
