Parsnip released one of last year’s best 45 with “Health” and now they’re at it again. Apart from contributing “It Couldn’t Be True” to the always great New Centre of the Universe compilation series on Anti Fade (now up to vol. 3) they’ve finally finished their second single, called “Feeling Small”. It’s a great kick in the teeth to annoying boys. But for me, it’s the seasonally well-suited “Winter” that has me catching my breath. Definitely one of their strongest tunes so far – coming off as a mix between Look Blue Go Purple and The Loft. No small feat, that.
