Ty Segall has had to earn some sort of prize for releasing two great albums this year, as well as a mind-blowing collaboration album with White Fence. And in October the new GØGGS LP came out on In the Red too. In case you didn’t prick up your ears when the first GØGGS record came out, this is a supergroup comprised of members of CFM, Ex-Cult and of course Ty Segall himself.
The new record is called Pre Strike Sweep and is just about as antagonistic as the title suggests. At its best it reminds me of early Useless Eaters stuff. Listen to the KBD sound of “Funeral Relief” right here.
