Major Leagues is the most promising pop group from Australasia since Fazerdaze. The Brisbane-based band with the Pavement-inspired name released their first album a few months ago. Good Love is out on Popfrenzy, a label in turn named after an album by the legendary Aussie band Even As We Speak. But the music is more than mere pop culture referencing, they have got real songwriting craft under their belts.
