Tomorrow the second semester of Designskolen’s Master of Design degree starts, and I’ve just got feedback on the final assignment of semester 1. For my essay on User-involvement in the design process I got a 12, and it ended up being a fruitful exploration of e-Types’ recent upgrade of EAT. It’s written on the basis of interviews with my colleagues Lasse Martinussen, Camilla Frederiksen and Mari Randsborg, contrasting their views with both user-centred approaches and design-driven innovation. It’s written in Swedish, but hopefully will be available from e-types.com in the near future.
