Thee Open Sex is a great new band from Bloomington that reminds me of Feeding People. They’re friends of Apache Dropout and have released their first LP on their label Magnetic South. Like Apache Dropout’s first album, this one is also available for name-your-price at bandcamp. Judging by the description of their previous tape Is Not a Cult, they have eschewed most of the electronic elements and the 7 new tracks are pure sonic worship of The Stooges, topped off by Miss Mess’ powerful vocals.
