Last weekend the new exclusive Danish cheese brand Unika was launched with the opening of a store in Copenhagen’s Torvehallerne, an upmarket foodcourt. The 8 cheeses were developed by Arla in cooperation with some of the country’s finest chefs. The identity and store are designed by Kontrapunkt, and I was working on this in the early stages. Out of the projects I have been involved with so far at Kontrapunkt, this one is the first to go public. I visited the new store yesterday, and this is what it looked like right then. I also took the opportunity to buy a piece of my favourite out of the cheeses I’ve tried so far, called Troldhede Ask (Ash).
