It’s been a couple of years since the last album from CIA Debutante – the collaborative duo of Nathan Roche (Le Villejuif Underground) and Paul Bonnet (Disposition Matrix). Now they’re back with a new 45 on French label SDZ. Called “Pier”, it’s a 3-track EP that came out just a few days after Roche’s solo album. This one is obviously a lot murkier, featuring untamed electronic soundscapes and off-kilter guitar. Check out the simple video for “Kessler Syndrome” which sees them performing in front of a strobe light.
